A concrete intermediate oval outside Nashville, returned to the Cup calendar after more than a decade unused.
Nashville Superspeedway is one of the few concrete ovals in NASCAR, which gives it a distinct feel and a different tyre behaviour from its asphalt equivalents. It sat idle for over a decade before returning to the Cup schedule.
It is some distance from Nashville itself, in Lebanon, which is worth knowing when booking a room for the weekend.
