Fort Worth, Texas · US
A fast mile-and-a-half oval with steep banking and noticeably different corner profiles at each end.
Texas is a quick intermediate oval where the two ends do not match — the banking and entry differ enough that a setup which works at one is a compromise at the other. Speeds are high and the racing tends to spread across multiple lanes once rubber goes down.
It is one of the few American ovals to hold both NASCAR and IndyCar, and the two produce very different races on the same asphalt.
