Miami International Autodrome is built around the Hard Rock Stadium campus and exists only for the race weekend. The layout splits cleanly in two: fast, open sections with real overtaking opportunities into the heavy braking zones, and a tight, awkward middle sector between turns 11 and 16 where the walls are close and rhythm is hard to find.
Heat and humidity are the constant. May in south Florida is punishing for drivers and for tyre degradation, and afternoon storms are a standing possibility rather than a rarity.
