A state-of-the-art FIA-certified facility in the heart of Dubai Motor City. The 3.36-mile circuit hosts the Dubai 24 Hours and offers multiple configurations for GT racing and track day experiences.
Set in Dubai, Dubai Autodrome is a permanent racing circuit. A lap covers 5.39 km (3.349 miles) and 17 corners, run clockwise.
The circuit opened in 2004 and holds FIA Grade 1 licensing. GT races here.
Ground was broken in 2002 on what became the UAE's first purpose-built motorsport complex, designed by Clive Bowen of Apex Circuit Design with the architects Populous. It opened in October 2004 with the closing round of the LG Super Racing Weekend, bringing the FIA GT Championship and the European Touring Car Championship to the Gulf.
The circuit is the anchor of Union Properties' Motor City development, a residential and commercial district built around it — one of the few places where a racing circuit came first and the neighbourhood grew up afterwards. The 5.39 km lap can be split into six configurations, and the site includes karting, a race school and a motorsport business park. Dubai never landed a Formula 1 race; Abu Dhabi took that instead. Its best-known fixture is the Dubai 24 Hour for GT and touring cars.
